A phrase I thought up…
I thougth of this phrase the other day when I was in a fieldwork tutorial for college. I’d like to do some more thinking about it and dig a bit below the surface of what it could mean. Since I’m not likely to do that in the near future due to the redicilous amount of college work that I should be doing (instead of writing blogs) – I thought I’d record my phrase here to see if anyone had any comments or ideas.
I was thinking about how church should be, instead of being insular and introspective and the phrase that came to me was that we should have church dissolved in community rather than (to push the analogy) a suspension of church in community. mmm not sure I like pushing the analogy. Oh Well.
At least I’ve got the idea recorded somewhere now!

have you read liquid church? Me neither yet but some of the ideas sound similar.
Do you want to see church dissolved in network communities or church dissolved in geographical communities?
