A Year of Living Generously
When I started out on this YOLG adventure, I kind of decided that I wouldn’t widely advertise that I was involved – in case it turned in to some kind of pride thing. But I think I missed the point. How am I going to be “releasing a positive social virus into the atmosphere” if nobody actually knows that I’m doing it.
So here it is. Andrea and I are trying to commit to two new sustainable acts of living generously with the planet and people each month. We need the encouragement of the group – cos we don’t seem to have kept quite up to date, even with it.
One of the actions that we tried was: Put A Brick In It!. But we found that ours didn’t work with bricks in (which we took to mean we weren’t wasting the water anyway). So we have two ‘Hippos’ spare – who wants to try them and see if they can save the world a couple of pints at a time? Comment on this post or get in contact
