Power points on trains

I sat on a virgin train the other day and noticed the 3 pin powerpoint and its sticker demanding that it only be used for laptops and phones. The sight got me thinking: “what other things might it be used for?”

So here’s your chance to list (by commenting on this post) the comedy uses that you think the plugs are really for.

I’ll start you off with:

To power a Jukebox

  1. Well i thought they were there to stop young kids running up and down the train.
you know before a journey someone plants a paperclip, fork or screwdriver
(something that conducts well) near the plug and innocently inquisuitive children
    are kept quiet for hours.

  2. i thought that people were supposed to plug appliances in which have long electrical leads,
so when people are queing to get off the train, they wont be held up by the slower (older)
generation. the victim will trip on the wire, fall head first and the way will be clear for
people to walk on. the only flaw in this ingenious invention of mobility is when the slower
generation decides to invest in a zimmer frame.
    God bless all generations
