Touch the earth lightly
I came across this verse in a hymn the other day and thought it was rather good.
Touch the earth lightly
use the earth gently
nourish the life of
the earth in our care
It fits nicely with my idea (maybe even moto) of “living gently in harmony with all of God’s creation”.
