I saw this news article and remembered again that this is an example of the real meaning of the “Do not take the Lord’s name in vain” commandment.
It’s not about hitting your thumb and saying “Oh Christ”.
It’s more about saying “God told me to blow up Iraq” or “God think’s it’s good that you’re dead” […]
