Solar heated water with a Combi Boiler system
We got a combi boiler when we moved in and didn’t realy think much about it.
Now we’ve been wondering about solar heating and thinking: “can’t do much about it because we don’t have a hot water tank”
But I’ve just found that ferroli have a system to allow a combi boiler to simply top up the heat on some solar heated water.
Presumably that can be retrofitted.
I shall investigate.
Edit: Ahh - they’ve said that it can’t be fitted on my boiler because my boiler can’t sense the input temperature of the water in order to decide whether or not to fire up!
