Honda Engine Dual Overhead Cam 16 valve - nice!

We've had this car since 2003 and it's served us well, whilst at the same time been a lot of fun for me to drive.
I'm selling this because my family's grown so we've got a bigger, more family appropriate car!
I've thoroughly enjoyed having the 216 - sad to see it go.

Good Things

Runs really well - I've totally enjoyed driving this car, it's got a lovely sounding engine that performs. It really is a fun GTi and looks nice too.
Rear tyres have had well under 1000 miles driven on them. Front tyres are slightly older but have got loads of tread still too.
Electric Windows, sunroof work, central locking, alarm all work well.
Very light power steering
I've got a Haynes Manual for it
The cambelt was changed at 120,000 miles
It had new front discs and pads for the breaks at 120,000 miles

Bad Things

This stuff is mostly cosmetic and none of it affects how the car performs - it still runs around like a teenager!

Some damage to bumper resulting in it protruding a little
Some damage to Offside wing resulting in indicator protruding a little
Bonnet's bent up a little - but locks down safely easily
Rear offside light cluster lets water in - common problem, I've never let it bother me!
Left wing mirror needs spring that keeps it on replacing
Passenger lock mechanism has been tampered with by a screwdriver.
The rear windows are seized. I've put no effort in to unseizing them cos we've never needed to wind them down. I'm sure (with the help of the Haynes) anyone would be able to free them up.
There is a very occasional squeaking from the area of the front breaks, although I just checked and there's loads of pad left.

MOT Certificate till 5th Sept 2007 (and all certificate back to 96-97)

I have a receipt for anything below that has a cost with it. The Service record's been filled out for 48k, 54k, 84k, 96k as far as I can tell
